Description
This is a gorgeous piece of honey yellow fluorite from the famous Moscona Mine, El Pontón de Solís, Corvera de Asturias, Asturias, Spain.
These honey yellow cubic crystals are very bright and transparent and display a spectacular, inter-grown cubic habit. This is typical of the fluorite found in this area. There is some white dolomite on the surface. The piece is fluorescent with 365nm long wave ultraviolet light, and displays a brief green phosphorescent glow.
Size: 30 x 35 x 17 mm and 22 grams.
