Pentagonite is a rare and beautiful mineral that has a deep blue color and forms crystal aggregates, usually in a non-uniform shape (unlike cavansite that generally forms in compact rosettes). It is composed of calcium, vanadium, silicon, oxygen, and water. Pune, India. We are quite confident that this piece is correctly identified as pentagonite.
