Ruby is the pink gem variety of the mineral species corundum.
The ruby crystals are in the pseudo-octahedral form and most of the crystal faces show classic ruby crystallization lines. UV photos are with 365 nm long wave light.
This is a gorgeous little ruby specimen that will capture your heart.
