This is a beautiful Turkish opal consisting of a combination of dendritic, white, and clear opal. The dendritic opal is reminiscent of traditional Japanese tategaki characters. This piece is from İnönü District, Eskişehir Province, Central Anatolia Region, Turkey.
The piece is UV reactive and fluoresces green under short wave UV light (254 nm) and fluoresces shades of white and light colors with long wave UV light source (365 nm).
