Description

Scalenohedral “dog tooth” calcite thumbnail size cluster in a pale-yellow hue. This piece is formerly from the collection of L. Wolfe. 

This piece fluoresces a faint orange with 365nm long wave ultraviolet light. 

From the Redlands Quarry, now LaFarge / Holcim, in Lockport, NY

The calcite is permanently glued in a 1.5 inch, 33mm, perky box.
