Description
This is a fascinating combination mineral piece from the famous Trepca Mines in Kosovo. A rainbow filled clear quartz cluster with pagoda calcite crystals perched at the top and sides of the crystals, and minor iridescent druze pyrite on the surface of the crystals as well as between the quartz and the calcite. This gives multiple reflections of iridescence throughout the cluster. In addition, there are rainbows that are in the quartz itself.
The calcite reacts to 365nm long wave UV with a light pink / orange color.
