Beautiful luster on this etched lemon calcite. "Lemon" calcite crystals are cleaned in an acid solution. They are not coated. The local miners have found that cleaning the crystals in an acid solution not only removes the debris and "mine mud" from the pieces, but it also creates a smooth, silky surface texture. The lemon calcites have a cool, soft, silky feel when you run your fingers over them. Unique and beautiful!
