Description
Multiple hexagonal "sandwich" calcite crystals in a stacked formation on matrix. Each stacked, tabular hexagonal calcite crystal shows an interlayering of white and clear/greenish calcite. The clear/light green layer has an alternating point-up/point-down triangular geometry visible on the side faces. Slight green tint is from hedenbergite.
Matrix rock is covered by a layer of druzy chalcedony with a tan color surface coating.
The hexagonal calcite crystals fluoresce vibrant orange under 365nm long wave ultraviolet light.
