Description
Highly lustrous hexagonal sandwich calcite crystals in a stacked formation. Each stacked, tabular hexagonal calcite crystal shows an interlayering of white and clear/greenish calcite. The clear/light green layer has an alternating point-up/point-down triangular geometry visible on the side faces. Slight green tint is from hedenbergite. The bottom has been smoothed a bit and there are some matrix mineral remnants.
The calcite fluoresces a vibrant orange under 365nm long wave ultraviolet light.
