Clear fenster window quartz with some golden clay inclusions. The crystal has beautiful surface markings. A few rainbows present. Fluorescent inclusions with 365nm long wave ultraviolet light.
Fenster quartz crystal, aka window quartz, skeletal quartz. This variety of quartz has unique internal structure which forms as a result of unstable conditions during crystallization. Sometimes these cavities have clay in them. The name is from the German word “fenster”, which means window.
