Each cluster is unique and may contain one or more epidote fans.
Size: approximately 2.5 to 3 cm by 1 to 2.5 cm. 2 to 5 grams each.
Epidote fan clusters are a type of mineral formation that consists of elongated crystals radiating from a common point. They are usually green, yellow or brown in color and have a vitreous to resinous luster. Epidote fan clusters are often found in metamorphic rocks, especially those that have undergone hydrothermal alteration. They can also occur in pegmatites, veins and skarns.
