Description
This specimen displays the uncommon tabular habit of apophyllite, with a thick, intergrown, sharply defined tabular crystal and excellent clarity. Minor internal and external celadonite inclusions. Beautiful, crystal-clear window into this piece. This piece also contains tiny dark‑to‑green micro‑inclusions typical of Maharashtra crystal pockets — natural celadonite‑rich or iron‑oxide–bearing grains trapped during crystal growth. Crystal is growth-interrupted (not fractured) where the piece was connected to the pocket.
