Description
This specimen shows the blocky, pseudo-cubic form of apophyllite with a stilbite crystal penetrating on corner of the apophyllite crystal. Red hematite inclusions add even more visual appeal. Basalt matrix remnant is on base where this was attached to host rock. The top and bottom terminations of the crystal have a unique textured surface while the sides are lustrous and smooth (some Striations). Sourced directly from Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India
