Description
This specimen shows the blocky, pseudo-cubic form of apophyllite with bright clarity and clean, complex crystal growth geometry. Red hematite inclusions add even more visual appeal. Basalt matrix forms the base where this was attached to host rock, and there is a secondary mineral on the basalt. The top of the crystal has a unique textured surface while the sides are lustrous and smooth (some Striations). Sourced directly from Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India
