Description
This specimen shows the blocky, pseudo-cubic form of apophyllite with bright clarity and clean, complex crystal growth geometry. An internal red hematite phantom adds even more visual appeal. There are two smaller crystals near the base of the crystal. Basalt matrix remnant is on base where this was attached to host rock. The top of the crystal has a unique textured surface while the sides are lustrous and smooth (some Striations). Sourced directly from Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India
