A well-formed specimen of botryoidal chalcedony featuring rounded columns and smaller domes. The piece exhibits a textured surface with natural luster and gentle translucence.
Variations in tone and texture reflect changes and multiple phases of silica deposition during formation within a volcanic cavity.
