Description
A character-rich specimen of botryoidal chalcedony displaying internal structure and subtle veining associated with late-stage silica deposition. Rounded chalcedony domes are interspersed with areas of internal patterning, offering insight into the formation process.
The piece exhibits a mix of smooth and lightly textured surfaces with soft translucence. Natural surface variation and minor edge contact typical of cavity-formed material.
Botton and side surfaces are cut and ground using the traditional techniques of the basalt miners in the Deccan Trap region.
